This is by far one if the true hidden gems in Mercer County. It is near Princeton (ten minutes) Concord University (2 minutes) and Pipestem State park. The menu is varied - Italian mainly - but ask about the Mediterranean specials they have off menu. The food quality is superb and the service is even better!

I came across this little restaurant a few weeks ago while I was taking the long way home from Bluestone Lake. I'm so glad I stopped there, I admit I loved that place. The food was wonderful and people who run the place were very good to me. This is one of the best restaurant of its kind in Southern West Virginia. I am seldom in Athens but I am going to have to make an excuse to come back soon just to have some more of that delicious food.
Huge variety of good comfort food. Worst thing is trying to decide what to eat each visit. Never left dissatisfied. Very friendly owners and staff!!! Just wish they delivered, that would be awesome!
This unique little establishment was as comfortable and inviting as any small town family restaurant that you want to visit as a traveler passing through rural West Virginia but with a very special exotic flair I would have never expected to find there. The food was extremely good, on par with places many times more expensive, and the service from the kind staff was perfect. I loved this place dearly. If you live in the area please be sure to support this business, places like this are a rare gem that are disappearing every day.
